Microgrid Model

In our Microgrid Model, the universal bridge converts the current from Alternating Current (AC) to Direct Current (DC) for the solar array and renewable storage. In the houses, we clustered together essential loads (e.g. lighting, refrigeration, heating, cooking) and non-essential loads (e.g. desk lamps, charging ports) for each one. This separate circuit is crucial so that in the case of an outage and low solar array output, we could shed the non-essential and keep the essentials running.
